After Mukachevo, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, and Odesa, we completed the tour in the capital — next to those who believe that love is manifested in actions.
October 4 in the territory of VDNG @vdngkyivthere was an atmosphere of sincerity and warmth.
Here we met families who have already opened their hearts to children growing up without parental care and those who are only thinking about taking this step.
Visitors listened to stories, talked with specialists, received advice from representatives of social services and learned how the system of family forms of upbringing actually works.
“Through these events, we create an environment of trust, support and acceptance. Here, families who have already changed the lives of children can share experiences with those who are only planning this step. At the same time, 162 more children in the capital need to be placed in a family — and it is for them that we are looking for a solution so that every child grows in love,” — Kateryna Osadcha @kosadcha Founder of the Foundation.
The Kiev picnic became the final stage of the tour, but at the same time — the beginning of a new one. Soon, regular meetings for parents raising children without parental care will begin in the capital. It will be a place of support, professional advice and sincere communication — for those for whom it is important to be close, share experiences and create a circle of like-minded people united by the desire to help children ♥️
The project is implemented by the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation together with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF Ukraine) @unicef_ukraineand Coordination Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care @childcare_uawith the financial support of the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) through the state development bank KfW.
